This is the story of the Fishburn side of my family. I guess for me you could say it all started when my father, John Lawson Mintier (1913-1967), ran away with my mother, Mary Eldora Fishburn (1913-2011), to West Virginia to get married back in 1935. Of course I wouldn’t enter the scene until 1946.
Or you could say that my saga started when Robert Mintier (1750-????) married a girl named Dorcus (1732-1811) in rural Pennsylvania before the United States became the United States.
But this is about the Fishburn side of my family. So let’s start with the most well known of the Fishburn ancestors. That would be Johann Phillip Fishburn III (1722-1795).Johann Phillip Fishburn III
